This is one of those weddings where I was contacted by the groom and dealt with him the whole time! Joel messaged me on Instagram one morning last summer and we got everything booked right away and the ceremony sorted out within the hour. Lickity split! I am often told by grooms they have been given one job and they just want to get it done and off their plate – works for me!
We chatted a little bit about the location – their back yard which happens to be walking distance from my house – and that they wanted a sweet and simple morning ceremony! Done and done! Morning weddings are almost always so much easier to book because as an Officiant, I usually do afternoon weddings so my mornings are often empty and you can get your 11am slot booked on the date of your choice without any issues.
They did such a lovely job of getting their backyard ready for their ceremony and wedding brunch – I love this arch! Everywhere I looked there was a sweet touch making their little wedding so special!
Can I get an amen? I see the way my couples look at each other, it speaks volumes!
How cute is their cake? The flowers looked so real, the bees and wasps were trying to get into them! Zoom in and you will see our little friends in there looking for a feast!
The bunch table! Just because your wedding is small doesn’t mean it can’t be super pretty and special! I love the way they did their napkins to look like flowers in their garden!
Preach! I know they had a great time drinking mimosas over brunch, celebrating our happy couple!

Celebrate all the dates! Every moment, every memory. It’s all worth popping the champagne!
I LOVE this idea! I often see tables with photos of our couples on them – which is so much fun because we get to see their life, their moments, their memories….
Charlotte and Joel created a photo wall! How cool is this? All of their framed photos were hung on a simple wall where we could all enjoy them while making mimosas!
It’s so easy to add customization to your wedding details – I have the machines to cut out names for glasses, mugs, t-shirt, etc etc so you can get everything locally for pick up or delivered to your door!
A lovely little spot for photos, champagne toasts, and taking a moment to bask in the joy of being married!
