Kylie and Rich were so excited for their wedding day! Everything had been planned, the venue booked, outfits picked, guest list finalized, the ceremony written….then Covid. Yep, these lovebirds were meant to get married and had all of their plans kyboshed along with everyone else. They postponed everything to 2021 and still have their big party planned…but they really just wanted to be married!
They asked me if I would be able to come and do a small ceremony for them this summer and then carry on with all of the big plans next year – of course I said yes!
We picked a date, started making plans…and here is what my sweet couple came up with!
Kylie had seen photos I posted of Erinn & Kyle’s mini wedding at home and was so inspired by their wedding table that they made their own! I love all of the little details and photos of their life together!
Champers and my marriage registry waiting for the big moment! I always bring a really nice pen for signing the paperwork.
I am so impressed at their determination to make this beautiful memory in the middle of so much stress and sadness. Kylie told me she found a super cute dress just for this occasion!
Can we tell they are huge fans of Star Wars? I hear there are some very special surprises just waiting for their big party in 2021! Maybe a Flower Storm Trooper coming up the aisle?
Just because their 2020 wedding was small doesn’t mean it wasn’t special! The love was strong that day and we had a great time, just a small group of us, making sure Kyle and Rich got their dream of finally being married!
