Julie and Glenn spent most of 2020 wondering if they would be able to get married in anything more than a tiny ceremony with just a few people. Fortunately the restrictions eased up in time for them to get married in their favourite spot with their favourite people!
Introducing…the Bowmanville Rotary Gazebo! Wahay!
This is one of my favourite public places for ceremonies! I love that it is big enough to fit lots of people inside, and outside, and….public washrooms are just steps away! Couples can book the Gazebo by calling the Bowmanville Town Hall.
Julie was sequestered while Glenn and their friends got everything ready. I love this simple yet elegant decor their hung up as their ceremony backdrop!
Here’s a closer look…it’s definitely easy to replicate and inexpensive as well! But wow! The perfect autumn decor that was 100% on trend!
Balloons always make things more festive and are always so easy to get. They fill empty spaces and bring joy where ever you put them!
Notice the beautiful colours of the trees? October is (IMO) the perfect time to get married! Mother Nature creates the most stunning backdrop for us and the sunlight isn’t as severe as earlier in the year. Also….no one is going to pass out from the heat!
Tables were set up for the champagne toast and cake cutting – there were so many lovely little details everywhere I looked!
I am still madly in love with their custom wedding napkins!
How sweet is their cake and cupcakes! Just enough for everyone who was there to celebrate their married and toast to their happiness!
Here’s a closer look! I love that fresh flowers were used to decorate the cake as well as sweet pink pearls! There was definitely a pink theme at this wedding!
MINT to be! So cute and such a clever way to present mints to your guests!
Custom cookies are all the rage these days and these ones did not disappoint!
Awww of course they needed cookies with their names on them! LOVE!
Every 2020 wedding had all the c-word supplies! I love that Julie and Glenn added some sparkle to make their hand sanitizers more festive…and match their theme!
Of course there were masks – but we were outside so only those who wanted to wore them.
The card table and guest book were ready for everyone! More pink to keep everything cohesive!
How adorable are these wedding favours? Custom playing card! Wow! These will be used for years to come and Julie and Glenn’s wedding day will be remembered at every game of euchre, rummy, and crazy 8s!
